A group of impassioned wedding creatives gathered to showcase their style and collaborated and contributed their influences for this beautiful love shoot. The inspiration behind the vision for this collaboration came from the golden sunsets, sand dunes, natural rocks and the salt air, all characteristics of the coastal landscape here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
All of the creative wedding suppliers who participated in the styled love shoot live near the beach, and they unanimously agree that there is a certain type of magic when seeing the sun hit the sand dunes and feeling the salty wind spray on your skin. We are so lucky to have hinterland, country and coastal options for weddings here on the Sunshine Coast, and each region provides a different landscape and background that is unique and reflective of the area. Nicola Holland adored photographing the last moments of sun lit sky and chased those magical moments of light throughout the day.
The bouquet created by Ginger Lily Rose was a beautifully gathered modern design, featuring delicate textures, seasonal fragrance and a soft muted colour pallete. The violet and orange tones popped wonderfully throughout the design, and the flower choices were inspired by the dusty pastel tones of a beach sunset. Divine ‘Violetta’ roses grown in Australia exclusively by Grandiflora Roses were the focal flowers, with eye popping black centred anemones and peachy caramel antique imported cottage roses providing a vintage appeal. The luxurious, multi-petalled blooms were accented with seasonal fillers and dainty additions to create a little hand held flower field with movement, space and delicacy.
Niki from Sass and Niki Hair Design also included some flowers in the models hair for a fresh touch alignined with the romantic styling feel. Kate Ellen Make Up Artistry created a fresh modern make up muse focussing on earthy tones with hints of muted pink for an organic romantic inspired make up style.
The gown was handmade by Marilyn Crystelle Bridal, and was created specifically to suit the shoot’s fit brief . Focusing on a simplistic elegant design with plunging a “v” neckline. The dress had a cheeky wrap around ball gown skirt with the elegance of a full cathedral train. The sassy split in the full skirt accented the chic modern style of the design and the sheer panelling on the front focussed on the sophisticated dress style.
